Different types of 'Beauty Blender's'
First off; sorry these are all dirty guys! They're just very loved lol...
These are just a few of the beauty blenders that I own. Not including my favorite one that I recently had to throw away :(
Sad; but not as sad as applying makeup with an over-used blender. Throw these away after a few months! Clean them depending on how often they're used.
These are all drug-store blenders. So they are all (but the orange one #3) quite harder than the actual Beauty Blender. Another really good one is from Real Techniques. But these are some of the common shapes and what I use them for.
From left to right;
*Green Sharp-Tear Drop:
I use this to apply color correcting concealers; such as the green and purple. I use it for this because I don't want my regular foundation to mix with it on the same sponge. I apply this only with the bottom. On the top; as you can see, I use to "bake" my face with loose powder. It has a really nice point at the top that gets a really sharp highlight.
*Pink Rounded-Tear Drop:
I use this for everyday foundation all over the face. This one is not my favorite... But because it's not a real beauty blender. Which will work a lot better for this. This is the closest shape to the real one.
*Orange Pointed and Rounded Dual:
This is the most soft and delecate one that I own! It's pretty great for a drugstore tool. I use this one the MOST. The top side for concealer and the bottom for light-weight coverage CC/BB Creams.
*Small Green Tear Drop:
This is best for under-eye concealer. But I feel like there's not much control here.. I personally wouldn't recommend a small one like this.
